Arkansas Academic Standards
The DMJ Digital Learning Program is an Arkansas Public School, and is required to meet specific standards and guidelines. One of the requirements is that Arkansas students must be taught grade-level standards. Although sometimes these standards can seem daunting to parents and students, don't worry! We're here to help! Our team of highly qualified certified teachers provides the support and guidance to help families and students meet the requirements of Arkansas educational standards.

K - 3 Standards-Based Grading
Since traditional letter grades can be subjective and vague, we use a standards-based grading system for our early learners.
Students are assessed on specific skills, and their scores reflect which skills have been mastered and which skills require additional practice.
Our K-3 teachers can offer levelized tutoring for students who do require additional help
Our K - 3 teachers provide monthly google meets to explain monthly goals and to provide resources and information.
We work with students and their parents to help them understand and focus on the specific skills students need to meet quarterly goals.

Live online classes are available through Virtual Arkansas, Red Comet, and North Arkansas College.
Students have the option of asynchronous learning for a more flexible schedule, with classes through Virtual Arkansas and/or Red Comet, online college courses from North Arkansas College or other colleges, or through credit recovery with Apex.
Concurrent classes are available through North Arkansas College and through Virtual Arkansas. Students are able to earn concurrent high school AND college credit by taking college classes that also count toward their high school diploma. This allows them to graduate high school with an associate degree.
