Deer Store delivered rewards on Thursday to the Deer 6th grade for winning the last Lip Sync Battle. They brought pizza, sodas, chips, and snack cakes. We are very appreciative of their support for our students!!!

Thank you to Samantha Heffley of Cold Water Soap Company and Misty Marshall of Mistic Beauty for coming out to show our students heritage soap making practices. Their demonstration on soap making was engaging for our students and had them asking great questions. We're looking forward to when they come back to make homemade chapstick for the cold weather on the way!
Come out tonight to the Deer Gymnasium for a 3 game matchup with the Oark Hornets. Antler Jr Boys will start at 5pm followed by the Sr High Mt. Judea Lady Eagles taking on the Lady Hornets and then the Antler Sr Boys' game with Oark will finish out the night.

Ms. Kim Rhoades is our fearless leader in our cafeteria at Mt. Judea. Here are just a couple of things her colleagues said about her: "Kim is a great boss and easy to work with always willing to listen and help. " "She's a fantastic boss lady ! She's very patient and she loves the children! Always there when I have a question."
Deer 1st grade students are enjoying their study of the night sky. They have created moon books to help them understand the moon's phase cycle. They have also created their own constellation after studying some of the well know constellations. Hands on learning is our favorite!

We are excited to announce that our Deer Antler Booster Club will be giving away turkeys for Thanksgiving to our Deer students' families on Wednesday. (1 turkey per family)

There will be a Deer 4H meeting Monday the 18th immediately after school until 5:15pm. Parents must pick up students at the Science Building. Please bring a can of food for the blessing box if you can.

The Deer-Mt. Judea School Board will meet for the regularly scheduled meeting Monday, November 11 at 6:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the Mt. Judea Campus in the school cafeteria.
